Cryptic is an eclectic mix of music, current events, random fact, jokes and music trivia, with the added spice of a few hidden meanings and a code to crack every week.

The code will be revealed throughout the show by the means of song titles, artists or even albums, in either case the information will be broadcast to you in the show. You don't even need to do any research you lucky dumplings.

If you crack the code before the end of the show - phone us! We have a few prizes to give away to budding cryptologists and for every song we play the value of the prize decreases.

Every song played decreases the total amount to be won by £5. So, if we began a show with 20 songs, you could win £100 if you call us right away. When we have played 5 of our 20 songs the prize is £75, after 10 songs it drops to £50, and so on. You get the idea.

If the code still remains, the prize will be bumped up after the show to a maximum of £20. This will be decided each week depending on the information given in the show.
