Maria is originally from the 'Garden of England', thus she has a green thumb and enjoys gardening. Nowadays her gardening achievements include picking at the grass whilst sitting on the PATS field, or stamping on weeds in driveways.

Although she won a competition which crowned her queen of Kent in 2008, she is far from your average girly girl! She likes 'deep' films and despises most chick flicks, except she admits she does love the colour pink.

Maria also loves travelling, musicals and enjoys singing A LOT (However she promises not on radio though!)

When not on air, you are likely to find Maria either editing her latest blockbuster or raving it up in the union.
